Noted qigong guru, Kenneth Cohen translates qigong (pronounced “chee-gung”) as “working with life energy, learning how to control the flow and distribution of qi to improve the health and harmony of mind and body” (The Way of Qigong, New York: Ballantine Books, 1997, p.3). Such practices have been prevalent in China for close to 5000 years.

The term qigong in the sense that we are using it, the practice of cultivating and refining qi or life energy, is a relatively new usage. In ancient China, these exercises were commonly called “dao-yin” which Cohen translates as “leading and guiding the energy”.

This site has been designed to bring out simple qigong concepts in every aspect of qigong practice so that you get the best qigong knowledge to start off in this exciting field!

Sandeep comes from a corporate background with engineering and management degrees from top schools in India. Through the last 15 years of his 20+ as the owner of a Strategy & Communications Consultancy firm, he has been in search of a deeper understanding of life purpose and all that we are made of. These pursuits have led him to meet with and learn from numerous Indian spiritual and vedic masters including Satya Sai Baba, Bhagwan and Amma, Swami Nityananda, Sri Sri RaviShankar, Master Parthasarathi Chariji and Tibetan Buddhist teachers such as The Dalai Lama, His Holiness the Karmapa, Ayang Rinpoche, Venerable Lobsang Namgyal and several others.

He brings the crux of this understanding into all his teachings, specifically Qigong, which is meditation in movement, aimed to harmonize the mind, body and spirit for sustained health, wellness and healing.

Sandeep has taught Qigong in 10 cities across Mexico and attendees have ranged from 5 years old to 76. He is also author of www.QigongForBeginners.com, www.b-quadrant.com and a book (available on Amazon) titled ‘Arrive At Success’. He is a Reiki healer, a student of Energy & Tantra, practitioner of the thought schools of Colin Tipping, Louise Hay and Robert Kiyosaki. He is married with a Mexican and they live in New Delhi, India.

Qigong Meditation Guide

A post-graduate in business administration, Kenna had been an entrepreneur for a good 15 years before she decided to get out of the rat race and pursue her calling in Buddhism. She did a 3-month silent retreat in Washington, USA and was associated with Nalanda Bodhi, Seattle and at the FPMT Center in Oregon for 2 years before she moved to India to be closer to her gurus and masters including The Dalai Lama, His Holiness the Karmapa, Ayang Rinpoche, Venerable Lobsang Namgyal and several others.

She is an expert on relationships, emotion management, self-healing and blends these aspects into all her teachings, specifically Qigong, which is meditation in movement, aimed to harmonize the mind, body and spirit for sustained health, wellness and healing.

Kenna has conducted Qigong meditation sessions in 10 cities across Mexico and has been highly acclaimed for her smooth soft voice and comfortable demeanor. She is a Reiki practitioner, a student of Energy & Tantra, and a deep explorer of how the mind works and how mind-streams pass between lives. She is married with an Indian and they live in New Delhi, India.
